Written for whoever runs a league. Every page names the buttons you will actually click and quotes the messages the app actually shows.
New here? Setting up your first league walks the whole way from an empty account to a table worth sharing.
Setting up your first league
The steps from an empty account to a shareable table.
Getting people into your league
Two separate settings control access. Who can find and join the league is one; who can read a division's shared table is the other. Any combination is valid.
Joining a division
Joining a league does not place you in a division. A division is one rung of the league's ladder for one season, and fixtures come from it.
Deciding who plays in your division
Players can ask to be entered into a division. Whoever hosts the division, and whoever runs the league, decides.
Running a tournament
A tournament is a one-night competition: a straight knockout, or a group stage feeding a knockout. It belongs to the league rather than to a season, so its entrants are not a division roster and anybody in the league can enter, including players not entered in a division this season.
Running a draw
A draw is a numbered board. Each number is given to a name, and one or more prizes are drawn from the numbers taken. The same mechanism runs a raffle, decides who throws first, hands out lanes, or splits a squad into teams.
Connecting a league to Discord
ODL Manager can post fixtures, results and league tables directly to your Discord server.
Your league's own look
Each division has a shared page, intended to be read rather than worked in. A league's colour, heading typeface and logo appear on that page only.
When a league is on hold
A leauge can be put on hold for a varity of reasons, this section explains what you can do with a league on hold.
